When reservations open

Until today, anyone asking when the Civis could be bought met the same answer in four different places: there is no date yet. It was true and it was useless, because leaving your email without knowing whether the watch arrives in three months or in two years is not a decision anyone can make.

Reservations open in the first half of 2027. That is the window we are giving ourselves to close validation on the first units and open the public list, and it is what we can stand behind: an exact day would mean making it up, because it depends on finishing checks that are still running.

If that date moves, we will say so here, with the date, like everything else, and by email to everyone on the list. A deadline corrected in public still works; one that is quietly dropped does not.

The price has also been published for a few days now, and it is not going to change between today and the opening. We would rather anyone leaving their address knew exactly what they are signing up for.
