The watch is called Civis
The dial only says Civis. The site now agrees.
Until this week, the first watch was called Civis Solum on the site. The dial, however, only says Civis. Two names for the same piece was one too many.
Solum meant "the ground", the base. As a last name it had a certain logic, but it confused more than it added, so we have retired it: the watch is the Vindex Civis, as it reads on the metal.
Old links keep working: the old page redirects to the new one. And the reference already said the right thing: VC for Vindex Civis, then the last two digits of the year and the size. A 39 registered in 2026 is a VC2639.
