Shipping & warranty

You buy direct, no middlemen. Here's what happens when you reserve your Solum.

Shipping

We ship worldwide.

International shipping

We ship to any country. Shipping is calculated at order confirmation and you'll see the total before paying — no surprises.

Hand delivery · Manila

If you're in Manila (Acacia), you can receive your Vindex in person by invitation. We film the handover —with your permission— as a keepsake and as part of our story.

Authenticity & ownership

The ritual of making it yours.

Every Civis carries its serial number engraved on the caseback and a warranty card with an NFC chip, which we prepare by hand for you. It's the ownership ritual you associate with the great watch houses; at Vindex, as standard.

How the card works

2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, from the date of purchase.

It covers the movement and water resistance. It doesn't cover normal wear, knocks or a crystal scratched through misuse.

The package

What you receive.

The Solum arrives in a wooden box with both straps (leather and a two-tone steel bracelet), the certificate of authenticity and the NFC warranty card. A simple, considered set — no filler.

Returns

30 days to decide.

If the watch isn't for you, return it within 30 days of receiving it, in its original condition and packaging. Write to us and we'll guide you through the return.

Reservation list

Verified slowly, in list order.

We don't mass-produce. Every watch passes its checks and gets documented before it ships; given the reservations we're working through, the average wait is 5 weeks — but every piece is genuinely verified, not sitting in a warehouse.

Reserving is free, no commitment — nothing is charged today.

Your place is set by order of arrival: the sooner you reserve, the sooner your watch's turn comes. No spam.

Frequently asked questions

What you ask us most.

Why trust a new brand?

Because we don't ask for blind faith. We show you the process, every watch comes with a certificate of authenticity and a warranty, and you have 30 days to return it. And reserving is free with no commitment — no money at risk.

How does the reservation list work?

We don't mass-produce: each watch is verified in list order. You sign up with your email and, when your order comes up, we write to you. Given the reservations we're working through, the average wait is 5 weeks.

When and how do I pay?

You pay nothing to reserve. When your order comes up, we write with the final price and the payment link before verifying and shipping your unit. Until then, reserving costs nothing.

Can I cancel? Am I committing to anything?

Reserving is free and with no commitment. You leave the list whenever you want by replying to any of our emails. There's no purchase commitment until you confirm your order and pay.

Is the crystal really sapphire?

Yes. Real sapphire crystal, the kind that won't scratch with daily wear. In this price range, mineral crystal —much softer— is the norm.

Can I swim with it?

It has a real 100 m water resistance, with a screw-down crown. It handles swimming and showers without issue, and we verify it piece by piece.

What movement does it have? Is it automatic?

An automatic PT5000: high-frequency (28,800 vph, with a smooth sweeping seconds hand), hand-winding, stop-seconds and around 38 hours of reserve. It shares the ETA 2824-2 architecture, one of the most widespread and serviceable movement designs in the industry, so there are no maintenance surprises.

Why €250 with a PT5000?

Because you don't pay for the name on the dial. The PT5000 shares its design with calibers found in watches that cost several times more; there, much of the price is the logo. At €250 you pay for the whole watch and the work in it: sapphire crystal, 100 m with a screw-down crown, 316L steel, 7 checks and a piece individually verified for you. The value is in the process, not the brand.

Will I pay customs or VAT?

It depends on your country. Shipping is calculated when you confirm the order; any local import duties or taxes, if applicable, are the recipient's responsibility.

How long until I get my watch?

Each Solum passes its checks and gets verified before it ships, in list order. Given the reservations we're working through, the average wait is 5 weeks, plus international shipping based on your country.

Why isn't it already made?

Because every unit has to pass its checks and get verified before it ships, and right now we're working through a fair number of reservations ahead of yours. We test and document each piece so it's truly yours.

Why isn't there a launch date?

Because we don't drop a batch on a date: each watch is verified when its turn on the list comes. Instead of a date, we give you a realistic timeframe (5 weeks on average, depending on the queue) and let you know when yours arrives.

What's the difference between the 39 mm and the 36 mm?

None in quality, movement or process: same PT5000, same 7 checks, same price. Only the case proportion changes — 39 mm (reference VC2639) or 36 mm (reference VC2636) — to fit different wrists better. You can reserve either one now.
